Markstein needed a compelling, consistent way to showcase company updates, thought leadership, and team culture to a diverse subscriber base that includes clients, partners, and prospects. Their goal: to keep audiences engaged while reinforcing the agency’s expertise and personality across every issue.

As the lead writer for Markstein’s quarterly email newsletters, I shape each issue from start to finish—crafting clear, engaging content that aligns with brand voice and strategic goals. Every edition features a curated mix of company news, original articles, client wins, thought leadership, video content, and employee spotlights.

I work cross-functionally with designers, account teams, and leadership to:

  • Write and edit all newsletter copy

  • Ensure each section flows logically and ties into overarching themes

  • Highlight key content with compelling CTAs and digestible structure

  • Adapt tone and messaging to reflect seasonal priorities and evolving business objectives

  • Optimize for readability and engagement across devices
